We did a two-hour whale-watching trip while in Maui. It was great. Great experience, with great hospitality. I can’t imagine a better way to spend a morning or afternoon! I recommend it to everyone. I also want to especially thank the female crew-member who helped me with my motion sickness. If anyone reading this could pass along this message to the blonde girl who spent a lot of time in Alaska, I would be very grateful: thank you, helpful crew member!

We went on the 2 hour Whale Watching Boat Ride. The captain did a great job getting us near as many whales as possible. We sat in the front of the boat and had a difficult time hearing the captain and the whale expert over the PA. That would be my only improvement suggestion. Special shout outs to Blossom, who was super sweet and helpful when checking us in, and Michelle, who coordinated assisting my mom who has mobility challenges with boarding and checked on us throughout the trip. They are both keepers HOP!

The staff on the cruise was friendly and smiling. The boat itself wasn't much fun, it kept smelling of diesel many a times, they really need to fix their exhaust. The vegetables in salad didn't seem fresh. Luckily the main course was served hot, so it was edible but the vegetarian option could have been better. The juices didn't taste fresh either, which is especially bad if you don't consume alcohol. The so called bar didn't have much material to work with, so the mocktails weren't good enough. They should consider offering hot beverage as well given that the cruise lasts long after sunset and it can get chilly. Would highly recommend carrying a jacket. If you are going as a couple, it can get a bit odd as you will be seated next to another couple on a very small table for four! The only reason I'm giving a 3 star instead of a 2 is because the views of the sunset, ocean and Maui are breathtaking. We also got lucky to be going out on a full moon night which made it better.

Their morning whale watching tour is usually not full and we got great views of a group of competing whales. Their early bird tour is a great value if you can get up, though the sun glare can sometimes be annoying. They have a nice crew!

Captain Jill and her crew were so friendly and fun. Their conversations were a riot and they had tons of good info to share. They got us in close with a group of 4+ whales and followed them around for about an hour. This crew definitely has passion and pride in what they do and it shows.
