Some of us snorkeled, some snuba dive, some had floats they could lay on and look down through a clear window. They fed breakfast and lunch, The food was great. I had a slow cooked pull pork sandwich. They also served alcoholic drinks for those who just wanted to enjoy the relaxing boat ride with beautiful scenery. By the way, I had 3 people with me who normally get sea sick, but the boat ride was extremely smooth because of the type of boat it was. No one got sick! The added plus for us; we went in March when all the Whales were there having babies and matting, so Four Winds included some whale watching in our trip. They lowered a microphone down into the water so you could hear the whale songs. Plus, they explained what the whales were doing and why they sing their songs. The people that live in Maui work hard to protect the wildlife at the same time they are trying to make money to live and protect the wildlife. Tips help them and the wildlife. It’s a hard balance.

I normally don’t buy photos however the quality and uniqueness of the shots had me happily pay for them. I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like. We got to see whales and the Captain (Lt. Dan) slowed down and stopped to ensure we have plenty of time to see breeches. Loved the size of the boat - just the right size with just the right number of people. Food was simple and delicious. The guys that “kept an eye out” for us rookie tourists on the water did a great job at being aware and ready for anything that could go awry while we snorkeled our time away, I felt comfortable out there even as a mediocre snorkeler. The prices seemed reasonable for what was available. Make sure to bring some cash to rent wetsuit vests if you don’t have your own( I highly recommend them as they are non intrusive and help you stay warm both in and out of the water) and to be able to tip the hospitable staff if you like as we found out they can only do cash for that. They had a professional photographer on board and he took some great shots of my aunt and I. Such a fun vacation memory! We saw so many kinds of fish and it was beautiful to see the islands from the water. Overall a great experience. 10/10 would recommend!

I especially appreciated the refresher course on snorkeling since I have been a long time for me. The food was great. Great staff, food and boat. They are willing to help in any way they can. Plenty of food for lunch and breakfast, with as many refills you want. The best place to sit is up stars on the front of the boat center and center right. It’s also the last boat on the other side of the dock. Don’t forget to pay for parking you don’t want a 50$ fine. If your picky about your gear I would bring your own. Good fins and mask, I just didn’t like the snorkel. I prefer the snorkels that close as you free dive but there’s are fine. They also have floats that go around your waist and I would suggest to use them. There’s a glass bottom area on the very bottom of the boat. Nice staff and great people working if you need anything they have from wetsuits to cameras to rent. Make sure to leave a tip because they work hard and it’s not a easy job.
