These are the nicest and newest helicopters on the islands. They also record the flight inside and out, which you can purchase a copy of after the flight. We have flown Blue Hawaiian on three of the islands and have had amazing, unforgettable experiences. Gorgeous ride!!! My family and I did the Hana/Eastern Maui tour ride and loved it. The helicopters are not open door, which was fine by me. For photo taking maybe that's not the best but you can purchase a video of your entire trip (with the pilot's commentary) afterward if you want. This was definitely a cool experience. Getting up close to some really tall waterfalls and sea cliffs, flying through a huge dormant volcano crater, and getting to do it all in a helicopter was definitely unforgettable. Our pilot was really nice and I did enjoy his commentary during the flight explaining some of the history of the islands. Overall a great experience. However it does leave you wanting more. I wish we would have explored the island of Molokai more than did instead of going back and touring Maui at the end. Other than that I think it was a great time.
