Hamoa Beach is world-renowned. It is regularly regarded as one of the top 10 Beaches on earth. Located just past Koki Beach just past Hana Town. The surf breaks have been surfed by locals of generations. Hamoa beach is perfect for snorkeling, body surfing, boogie boarding, or simply getting some sun.
Originally a beach that saw few visitors and mostly locals, this has changed with the increasing notariety of Hamoa Beaches’ beauty and mostly ideal conditions. Hamoa Beach has beach showers, a paved path leading to the beach, and public restrooms. Amenities at this level are hard to find at times especially at the beaches along the road to Hana.
Word of Caution
Hamoa Beach is well known and on nice days will get quite a bit of attention. This can make the parking situation difficult at times. Look for the signs for street parking information.
The path leading down to the
Although usually calm, pay close attention to the surf warning and water conditions while visiting Hamoa Beach. This is especially true during the winters months. There is not a reef to protect this beach.

1. Take the Hana Highway (Hwy 360) pass Hana Town near mile marker 50.
2. Take the access loop, Haneo’o Road.
